1. Abnormality of water tongue

If the rotary sprinkler is working properly, the water tongue should be around the nozzle in the absence of something else (rocker-type deflector or worm wheel impeller) clogging it. There is a smooth and transparent round dense section, and then the water tongue gradually turns white and is crushed; the range should not be less than 35% of the standard value, and the atomization is good. Otherwise, the water tongue is abnormal. The reasons and elimination methods are as follows: ①The surface of the water outlet of the water tongue is rough and opaque, but the main flow of the water tongue is still round. The reason is rough machining, burrs or damage to the nozzle. The nozzle should be sanded or replaced. ②The water tongue unfolds as soon as it comes out of the water outlet, showing a round and dense cross-section. The main reason is that the inside of the nozzle is seriously damaged and should be replaced; the rectifier is twisted and deformed and should be repaired or replaced;

2. The range of water tongue is not enough

①The body length is not enough, but the atomization of the water tongue is still good. The main reason is that the speed of the nozzle is too fast, so the speed of the nozzle should be reduced. ②The range is not enough, and the atomization of the water tongue is not good. The reason is that the work pressure is not enough, and the pressure can be increased as needed.

3. The rocker sprinkler rotates abnormally

①The rocker arm works normally, but the nozzle does not rotate or rotates very slowly. The reasons are as follows: the gap between the hollow shaft and the sleeve shaft is too small, and the gap should be increased; the gap between the two is blocked by the incoming sand and should be cleaned up; the sleeve shaft is too tight during installation and should be loosened appropriately. ②The opening angle of the rocker arm is too small. The reasons are: the rocker arm spring is too tight and should be adjusted loosely; the rocker arm is installed too high, and the water guide pipe cannot completely cut into the water tongue, so it should be lowered; the rocker arm and the rocker arm shaft are closely matched, and the gap should be increased; if the water pressure is insufficient, it should be lowered. Turn up. ③The opening angle of the joystick is large enough, but the percussion force is weak. The reason is that the deflector cuts too deep into the water tongue, so that the force of the rocker arm is not completely knocked on the spray body before being washed away. The percussion block should be thickened. ④The frequency of rocker tapping is unstable and fast. The reason is that the rocker arm and the shaft are loose or the rocker arm shaft is loose, and the cause needs to be found out and corrected. ⑤ The rocker arm cannot return after swinging. The main reason is that the rocker spring is too loose, the spring should be tightened.

4. Abnormal rotation of worm wheel type (impeller type) nozzle

①The impeller is idling, and the nozzle does not rotate. The main reason is that the connecting screw between the impeller shaft and the small worm gear is loose or the pin falls off, and should be tightened; the positioning screw between the large worm gear and the sleeve shaft is loose and should be tightened; tighten. ②The water tongue is normal, but the impeller does not rotate, and the spray body does not rotate. The main reason: the worm gear or gear lacks oil, and the resistance is too large. Lubricant should be added; the set screw is too tight, causing the worm gear to be eccentric, so it should be loosened properly; the impeller is stuck by foreign objects and should be removed; the worm gear, gear or hollow shaft and quill shaft are rusted firmly, and should be removed and oiled.

5. Water leakage in the rotating part of the nozzle

①Sand enters the gasket, so that the sealing surface is not sealed. The hollow shaft should be removed and cleaned. ②The machining accuracy of the nozzle is not enough, and the end face of the hollow shaft and the sleeve shaft cannot be closely matched, so it should be repaired or replaced.
